Identitarian Christians believe that to live properly we must understand who God created us to be. We seek to establish human identity upon the God revealed markers of religion, genetics, and hierarchy. Through these markers, our obligations to our fellow men and women become clear. The following seven points summarize our beliefs.

(I) Spirit and blood identity. As human beings we should identify ourselves primarily through the identities God has given us (religion, ethnos, gender) rather than by manmade identities constructed by secular society (class, political party, sports fandom, etc.). God’s organic identity markers should take priority over artificial ones.

(II) Christianity is the one true religion. God has commanded all men everywhere to accept Christ. [1] God rejects religious pluralism. [2] Christianity is an exclusive religion. Religious discrimination is moral and good because God instructed us to practice it. [3]

(III) God created sex/gender. God has obligated the two separate sexes to act in accordance with specified standards. [4] Sex is immutable and decided by our genetic inheritance at birth. [5] Gender/sexual discrimination is moral and good because God told us to practice it. [6]

(IV) God created biological family. Organic family (nuclear and extended) arises naturally through the genetic connection between parents and offspring. [7] Families are obligated by God to prefer and provide for their own members. [8]

(V) God created ethnos. [9] Ethnic groups are extended families. [10] Our ethnicity is genetically inherited. Ethnicity is immutable. [11] Ethnic discrimination is moral and good because God practiced it, and told His followers to practice it. [12] God created variations between kinship groups rendering discrimination between them necessary. [13]

(VI) God created hierarchy. God designed human society to operate around hierarchical authority relationships: Christ over church, [14] overseers over laity, [15] government over subjects, [16] husband over wife, [17] parents over children, [18] and master over slave. [19] We accept these hierarchies as good, and seek to honor rather than abolish them.

(VII) Human equality does not exist. Never have two people been created equal in talents, genetics, opportunity, intelligence, quality of life, organic virtues, abilities, or wisdom. [20] Likewise, no two people groups have ever been created equal. God is the author and sustainer of inequality. [21]

[1] Acts 17:29-31: “Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

[3] Galatians 6:10: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (ESV)

[4] Titus 2:3-5: “Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.” (ESV)

EXCERPT: “The prevailing theory behind this long-standing practice, says Reiner, has been that a person reared as a girl will eventually embrace that category. Now, however, new research by Reiner suggests that perhaps such assumptions ought not to be made. A study by Reiner and John Gearhart, MD, of Johns Hopkins University, finds that biology–in particular the hormonal influences on developing infants’ brains–programs children to eventually identify as either male or female, almost regardless of social influences, at least in the case of the children he’s studied. ‘It’s fair to say that some people in the world of psychology have held that [gender] is socially derived, learned behavior,’ says Reiner. ‘But our findings do not support that theory.’”

But ultimately, every single cell in the human body, the DNA in that cell, remains coded for your biological birth.”

[6] I Timothy 2:12: “Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.” (ESV)

[12] Nehemiah 13:23-30: “In those days also I saw the Jews who had married women of Ashdod, Ammon, and Moab. And half of their children spoke the language of Ashdod, and they could not speak the language of Judah, but only the language of each people. And I confronted them and cursed them and beat some of them and pulled out their hair. And I made them take oath in the name of God, saying, “You shall not give your daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves. Did not Solomon king of Israel sin on account of such women? Among the many nations there was no king like him, and he was beloved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless, foreign women made even him to sin. Shall we then listen to you and do all this great evil and act treacherously against our God by marrying foreign women?” (ESV)

EXCERPT: “The bell curve for whites is centered roughly around IQ 100; the bell curve for American blacks [20% white admixture] roughly around 85; and those for different subgroups of Hispanics roughly midway between those for whites and blacks. The evidence is less definitive for exactly where above IQ 100 the bell curves for Jews and Asians are centered…. Individuals differ in intelligence due to differences in both their environments and genetic heritage. Heritability estimates range from 0.4 to 0.8 (on a scale from 0 to l) [40 to 80%], most thereby indicating that genetics plays a bigger role than does environment in creating IQ differences among individuals…. Racial-ethnic differences are somewhat smaller but still substantial for individuals from the same socioeconomic backgrounds. To illustrate, black students from prosperous families tend to score higher in IQ than blacks from poor families, but they score no higher, on average, than whites from poor families.”

EXCERPT: “Everyone recognizes race. Africans, Europeans, and Asians can be distinguished at a glance because the races differ so obviously from each other. Although the differences are popularly referred to as “skin color,” as if this were where they began and ended, color is one of the least important ways in which the races differ… For whatever reasons, the races do not smell the same. Blacks and whites have strong, but differing smells, and many Asians have scarcely any smell. Koreans often have no odor-producing glands in their arm-pits at all and Japanese have very few… It has long been known that blood transfusions and organ transplants work best between people of the same race. Until the Second World War, stocks of blood were routinely segregated by race for this reason. Classification by race was ended when it was discovered to be “racist,” but blood banks are reinstituting segregation… A child could distinguish between the skulls of Eskimos and Laplanders as easily as he could tell cucumbers from zucchinis. The skulls of Australian aborigines have characteristics not found in any other race, but common in fossils of pithecanthropus. The bones of the skull are twice as thick as those of any other race (10 mm v. 5 mm), and the skull has heavy frontal and parietal ridge lines typical of pithecanthropus. The teeth and lower jaws of aborigines are also larger than those of other races”

[16] Romans 13:1-7: “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience.” (ESV)
