IDENTITARIAN COMMENTARY ON HOSEA
God created a hierarchical system of government for his people Judah. It was not an egalitarian democracy. Inequality has always governed God’s people.
“Go, take to yourself a wife of whoredom and have children of whoredom, for the land commits great whoredom by forsaking the Lord.” (1:2)
Many modern men can and do feel the pressure and insecurity of dating or marrying a women who has formally lived a promiscuous life. Few attractive modern American women are virgins, especially those of marriageable age. Unfortunately, the average twenty-first century Western woman is a “wife of whoredom.”
Part of this phenomenon can be blamed on feminism and the sexual revolution. The godless fight against “oppressive” institutions and moral codes has destroyed the social fabric of society. It has rendered many young women unmarriageable because of sexual history. Men want to marry virgins. They do not want to worry that their wife is thinking about another man when she’s looking at them.
Hosea must have considered these negatives, but he obeyed God’s command to marry an unchaste women. The consequences were dire (as God knew they would be). Men should seek out chaste women to be their wives.
“Call his name Not My People, for you are not my people, and I am not your God.” (1:8-9)
God discussed groups of people as units, and he treated whole nations as if they were a single individual. He punished groups, judged groups, and rejected groups. God did not judge the people of Israel as individuals, he stereotyped them into an identity group. God never said things like: “well, we have to judge them as people not groups,” or “yes, but there are a lot of good Israelites too,” or “it’s wrong to stereotype entire tribes.” God violated the modern ethic of individualism and judged and condemned people on account of their tribal identity.
God chose which people would be his and which people would not be his. He accepted some and rejected others. God is a God of exclusion. Those he does not include will be rejected. God had an in-group and an out-group. Israel was God’s in-group, but even they were subject to being excluded if they defied him.
“…put away her whoring from her face, and her adultery from between her breasts; lest I strip her naked and make her as in the day she was born…” (2:2-3)
God defied the feminist worldview by portraying Israel in a “sexist” way: as a promiscuous woman. He threatened violence and shame on her for practicing her “sexual liberation.”
“Upon her children also I will have no mercy, because they are children of whoredom.” (2:4)
God attached a negative identity upon illegitimate children: “children of whoredom.” God took into account identity markers unrelated to a person’s individual actions. One’s family defines one’s meaning.
“…you will call me ‘My Husband’ and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.’ For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more.” (2:16-17)
God is a jealous God who did not accept pluralism and religious freedom within his nation. God will not share his people with other gods. He will destroy and reject nations who whore themselves out to religious pluralism. The people of our country should not have the “right” to freedom of religion if that entails the worship of other gods and unchristian practices. God will judge us as a people for allowing our nation to be corrupted.
“And I will make for them a covenant on that day…. And I will betroth you to me forever.” (2:18-19)
God’s rejection of religious pluralism, his triumph over it, was a reference to the coming of the Christian era. How much less should we tolerate godlessness now? We should seek to be a pure and unadulterated people.
“…I will sow her for myself in the land. And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people;’ and he shall say, ‘You are my God.’” (2:23)
God will triumph over other religions and gods. There will be no pluralism in heaven. Perhaps in this present time we are forced to tolerate some forms of ungodliness within our nations because of the fallen age in which we live. At the very least, however, we should outlaw non-Christian religions from openly practicing among our people.
“For the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or household gods. Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God.” (3:4-5)
God is long-suffering, but the road back to him may be filled with the suffering he sends us to convince us to return. God is willing to curse a people until they return to him. Perhaps God is cursing Westerners in this age of displacement and white genocide as a way to call us back to him.
“…there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Therefore the land mourns…” (4:2-3)
God stereotyped the children of Israel as committing many sins. He then punished them as a collective unit rather than as individuals.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” (4:6)
White Westerners are destroyed by our lack of knowledge about race realism, social capital, diversity, and religious truth. The longer we fail to learn these truths the longer our displacement and erasure will continue. We do not lack knowledge because the information is unavailable; we lack knowledge because we have chosen to reject it.
God will punish the children of a sinful nation. In this example from Hosea, God was talking about the children of the priestly caste. God stereotypes and judges entire nations of people, not just individuals. Our identity before God is defined by our parents and ethnic heritage. The sins and virtues of our ethnos define us.
“They shall eat, but not be satisfied; they shall play the whore, but not multiply, because they have forsaken the Lord to cherish whoredom, wine, and new wine, which take away the understanding.” (4:10-11)
Perhaps Western people are under a similar curse. We are “sexual liberated” and promiscuous but our people are shrinking. Our fertility rates are too low to reproduce ourselves. So much sex, but so few children. Our people are drunk on the pleasure of a rich and technological society. They entertain themselves to death rather than seek a saving knowledge.
“I will not punish your daughters when they play the whore, nor your brides when they commit adultery; for the men themselves go aside with prostitutes and sacrifice with cult prostitutes, and a people without understanding shall come to ruin.” (4:14)
White Westerners will come to ruin if we do not awake from our stupor of sex and pluralistic “tolerance.” How many of society’s daughters “play the whore?” According to research, only three percent of Americans are virgins when they enter their first marriage. By some measures, it is statistically more likely a person will be homosexual than wait for marriage to have sex.
“When their drink is gone, they give themselves to whoring; their rulers dearly love shame.” (4:18)
The twenty-first century West is ruled by lover’s of shame. Any descent leader would be ashamed of allowing millions of immigrant invaders to march across their borders unopposed. They would be shamed by the legalization of LGBT “marriage” (sodomy). These events should be deep national shames, but our rulers rejoice over them.
“I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, O Ephraim, you have played the whore; Israel is defiled. Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. For the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not the Lord.” (5:3-4)
Hosea spoke of an entire nations, ethnic groups, and tribes being defiled by playing the whore. God stereotypes ethnic and kinship blocs. He told Hosea to encourage prejudice against groups of people.
There can be a sinful spirit resting on an entire group; in this case, it was a “spirit of whoredom.” Ethnic groups and tribes possess a common general spiritual identity.
“With their flocks and herds they shall go to seek the Lord, but they will not find him; he has withdrawn from them.” (5:6)
Perhaps God has withdrawn himself from the Western world because of our rejection of him, and our faithless dealing with this fact. Perhaps mass immigration and ethnic erasure is our punishment for rejecting him.
“They have dealt faithlessly with the Lord; for they have borne alien children. Now the new moon shall devour them with their fields.” (5:7)
The Bible speaks of “alien” people. Latino immigrants are cultural and ethnic aliens. “Illegal aliens” is a term endorsed by the Bible and God. They are the “other.” They are not part of our in-group.
Interracial/tran-sracial adoption is among the strangest and most dysgenic practices of modern American Christians. The idea that a healthy prosperous white couple would adopt an alien black or Latino child is almost the definition of cuckolding.
“Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of punishment; among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure. The princes of Judah… upon them I will pour out my wrath like water. Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because he was determined to go after filth. But I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like dry rot to the house of Judah. When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to the great king. But he is not able to cure you or heal your wound. For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear and go away; I will carry off, and no one shall rescue.” (5:9-14)
God can and will serve as a destroyer. He will bring ruin on a people and a nation. God is not the God of therapeutic deism. He is a God of relationships: love, vengeance, anger, loyalty, betrayal, etc. If we turn against him, as we have, he will turn against and destroy us.
“I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress earnestly seek me.” (5:15)
God will not save the white Western world until we again seek earnestly after him. The West was formed by Christendom, and without God and Christ we will disintegrate.
“‘Come, let us return to the Lord; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him. Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn.’” (6:1-3)
God will heal us as a people if we return to him; maybe not in the way we expect, but it will be a healing. God gives and takes away.
“For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.” (6:6)
How many Christian Cultural Marxists have no knowledge of God? They never read the scriptures, and they never seek any truth about God that contradicts a post-1960s worldview. They are intentionally ignorant of all God’s reactionary commandments and perspectives. They advocate homosexual rights, feminism, and abolitionism against God’s clear revelations. They have rejected knowledge.
“But like Adam they transgressed the covenant; there they dealt faithlessly with me. Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with blood. As robbers lie in wait for a man, so the priests band together; they murder on the way to Shechem; they commit villainy. In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; Ephraim's whoredom is there; Israel is defiled.” (6:7-10)
God negatively stereotyped five groups of people in this passage. (1) He said ALL the people transgressed the covenant and dealt faithlessly with him; (2) he said Gilead was a city of evil doers tracked with blood; (3) the priests were like robbers who murder men as they travel; (4) the tribe of Ephraim (a stand in for the Kingdom of Israel) was involved in whoredom; and (5) Israel was defiled. God negatively stereotyped, and he encouraged prejudice against groups of people.
“When I would heal Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim is revealed, and the evil deeds of Samaria; for they deal falsely; the thief breaks in, and the bandits raid outside.” (7:1)
God accredited “evil deeds” to the entirety of two ethnic identities: Ephraim and Samaria. God assigned corporate guilt. How much guilt has the African American community accumulated with its rampant sexuality, violence, and laziness? Seventy-five percent of Afroethnics in America are born out of wedlock. Ninety-eight percent of them voted for godless Obama in 2008, the president who oversaw and enforced the legalization of homosexual “marriage.” African Americans are saturated with iniquity and evil deeds.
“They are all adulterers…” (7:4)
God says they were ALL adulterers. He negatively stereotyped an entire group.
“Ephraim mixes himself with the peoples…” (7:8)
The Ephraimites was mixing themselves with other ethnic groups. God condemned them for fraternizing with the “other.” Amalgamation with the out-group was condemned. God condemned inclusion.
“Strangers devour his strength, and he knows it not; gray hairs are sprinkled upon him, and he knows it not.” (7:9)
“Strangers” (i.e. foreigners and the ethnic “other”) had infiltrated Ephraim and were destroying the tribe. A similar situation is happening in the modern West. The intrusion of non-European ethnic groups into our societies is destroying us from within. Blacks, for example, commit heinous crimes against our people, drain our money through welfare, destroy our neighborhoods by collapsing social capital, ruin our schools, and accuse us of “racism.” Similar things could be said for many other “strangers” within our borders: Latinos, Muslims, Semites, etc.
“Ephraim is like a dove, silly and without sense, calling to Egypt, going to Assyria.” (7:11)
God constantly opposed Israel’s alliances with foreign powers. Egypt, in particular, was rarely spoken well of. America’s own military and trade alliances have led her into many terrible situations. Trade deals resulting in global free trade have drained America of her manufacturing sector and left millions of blue collar whites out of work. WWI and WWII, two of the most destructive and pointless civil wars in history were begun and escalated by alliance systems that dragged new combatants into bloodshed and destroyed Western Civilization.
“Woe to them, for they have strayed from me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against me.” (7:13)
God punishes and destroys nations for corporate wickedness. How many lies have modern Westerners spoken against God? How many false accusations have we laid against his Christians? How can God redeem us if we attack and slander him? A particular example is the blasphemous nonsense continually spewed from the mouths of the “New Atheists.”
“Israel has spurned the good; the enemy shall pursue him.” (8:3)
Israel had spurned the good as a corporate stereotyped body of people. Enemy ethnic groups would exact retribution for wickedness.
“They made kings, but not through me. They set up princes, but I knew it not. With their silver and gold they made idols for their own destruction.” (8:4)
God’s only objection to monarchy was the establishment of kings who did not go though him. God established kings elsewhere in the Bible, and Christ is an absolute monarch rather than the “president” of an egalitarian democracy.
“I have spurned your calf, O Samaria. My anger burns against them. How long will they be incapable of innocence?” (8:5)
God’s anger burned against a whole ethnic bloc (Samaria). God does not always think in individualistic terms. As a whole, the Samaritan people were incapable of innocence.
“For it is from Israel; a craftsman made it; it is not God. The calf of Samaria shall be broken to pieces.” (8:6)
God does not accept rival conceptions of religion. He does not accept religious pluralism. Differences of opinion within Christianity should be tolerated for conscience sake, but entirely different religions must be banned or driven from public practice.
It is possible this calf idol was supposed to represent Yahweh which would have made the Samaritan cult a different form of Yahweh worship equivalent to the difference between modern Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. God still did not accept it. He accepted no graven image.
“For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no heads; it shall yield no flour; if it were to yield, strangers would devour it.” (8:7)
“Stranger,” the ethnic “other,” was to be feared and abhorred. God portrayed them as ready to devour the substances of Israel and Samaria.
“Israel is swallowed up; already they are among the nations as a useless vessel.” (8:8)
Collectively, Israel was useless. It is morally permissible for one to condemn and stereotype entire ethnic groups. Hosea and God practiced this linguistic characterization.
“Because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sinning, they have become to him altars for sinning.” (8:11)
The corporate guilt of the tribe of Ephraim. God thought of Ephraim as a group of sinful alters.
“As for my sacrificial offerings, they sacrifice meat and eat it, but the Lord does not accept them. Now he will remember their iniquity and punish their sins; they shall return to Egypt.” (8:13)
God was going to re-enslave the ethnic Ephraimites as a people. An entire tribe was to suffer for collective sin. God punished groups, not just individuals.
“For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces, and Judah has multiplied fortified cities; so I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour her strongholds.” (8:14)
The strength of a people is not just found in their fortified cities and military prowess. There is a spiritual strength that shields an ethnic group from social, cultural, and demographic decay. The West is decaying despite its far superior military capabilities and nuclear arsenals. The West has no spiritual defense against social decadence and the intrusion of foreign ideologies that are spreading moral rot among our people.
Under Vladimir Putin, Russia has advanced the idea of “spiritual security” as an important component of national security. This has contributed to Russia’s resurgence of Orthodox religion and return to traditional norms. Russia understands that a nation’s strength means more than the multiplication of fortified cities.
“Rejoice not, O Israel! Exult not like the peoples; for you have played the whore, forsaking your God. You have loved a prostitute's wages on all threshing floors.” (9:1)
God and Hosea were not afraid to use harsh language to condemn a fallen ethnic group. Today, Christians are told to “be nice” and inoffensive, but neither the prophets nor Jesus followed such limitation. Calling someone, or a people group, a “whore” has always been offensive.
“They shall not remain in the land of the Lord, but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.” (9:3)
Being banished to the land of the ethnic “other” was viewed by God and Israel as a punishment. We should, in a healthy society, prefer our own people and territory.
“The days of punishment have come; the days of recompense have come; Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool; the man of the spirit is mad, because of your great iniquity and great hatred.” (9:7)
At some point, a nation’s day of recompense will arrive. God will judge a wicked people. How far away is that terrible day for godless homosexual America? Or, is it already here in the form of Third World invasion?
“They have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah: he will remember their iniquity; he will punish their sins.” (9:9)
How deeply must a people be corrupted to celebrate sodomy as marriage, and to label “deplorable” everyone who disagrees with their celebration of disgusting sin.
“Like grapes in the wilderness, I found Israel. Like the first fruit on the fig tree in its first season, I saw your fathers. But they came to Baal-peor and consecrated themselves to the thing of shame, and became detestable like the thing they loved.” (9:10)
God remembered the corruption of Israel’s ancestors. He linked the father’s sins with their children. Sin is not just an individual issue. It is inter-generational. We will become the things we love. We will become wicked and demonic if we love those things. Do we want our children to become them too?
“Ephraim's glory shall fly away like a bird—no birth, no pregnancy, no conception! Even if they bring up children, I will bereave them till none is left. Woe to them when I depart from them! Ephraim, as I have seen, was like a young palm planted in a meadow; but Ephraim must lead his children out to slaughter. Give them, O Lord—what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.” (9:11-14)
In a healthy society conception, pregnancy, and birth are blessings. Their removal would have been a dreadful curse. Today, it would be seen as a blessing to the sexually immoral West whose debased population would see it as a license for promiscuous behavior.
Perhaps the plunging fertility rates and demographic decline of the West is part of God’s punishment for our betrayal of him. We are destined for extinction. Part of the inspiration for low modern fertility rates is the perceived burden of raising children. People want to be free of troublesome responsibilities and badly behaved adolescents. Interestingly, God promised to cause Israel’s children to “bereave them till none is left.” A striking correlation. General infertility is a mark of God’s punishment.
“Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels.” (9:15)
God did not shy from harsh language. He said he “hated” Israel and that ALL their princes were rebels. God hated an entire ethnic group. God was prejudiced and “racist” in his anger and punishment.
“Ephraim is stricken; their root is dried up; they shall bear no fruit. Even though they give birth, I will put their beloved children to death.” (9:16)
God was so intent on cursing Ephraim to demographic collapse that he would kill their children if they succeeded in producing any. God would genocide the Ephraimites by attacking their posterity.
“My God will reject them because they have not listened to him; they shall be wanderers among the nations.” (9:17)
Hosea affirmed God’s attitude towards Ephraim and condemned them to wander among the ethnic “other” without an ethno-state of their own. We too should affirm our God’s sentiments and mindset.
“Israel is a luxuriant vine that yields its fruit. The more his fruit increased, the more altars he built; as his country improved, he improved his pillars.” (10:1)
Prosperity is often deadly for a nation. The ties that bind us to our God and ethnos become relaxed as wealth increases. We have less need of our neighbors and kin when we have money. Independence and individualism are strengthened when people perceive they have the strength and resources to make it on their own. The modern West is an example. As we became increasingly wealthy and powerful we abandoned traditional identity structures like religion and ethnicity for the pursuit of new forms of liberation. Feminism can only exist in the modern world because our prosperity and security situation has increased to such a degree that women remain relatively safe and economically successful without men. In the long run, however, feminism will cause social collapse because of the falling birthrates associated with less marriage and religiosity. Ironically, the collapsed world will be unsuitable for feminism.
“Their heart is false; now they must bear their guilt. The Lord will break down their altars and destroy their pillars.” (10:2)
God advocated the destruction of religious pluralism by the desecration of enemy holy places. The objects (pillars, alters, etc.) of false religious practice were to be eliminated. We should not allow non-Christian religions to publicly practice.
“For now they will say: ‘We have no king, for we do not fear the Lord; and a king—what could he do for us?’” (10:3)
The rejection of God and king represents rebellion against hierarchy and authority. When everyone is secure and successful neither God nor strongman is necessary to provide protection. In the past America was homogeneous, religious, and safe. Now, America needs a tyrant to protect its population from the disasters and chaos unleashed by religious and ethnic pluralism.
“Ephraim shall be put to shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his idol.” (10:6)
Whole ethnic groups and tribes can be put to shame. Among the sources of shame is the practice of false religion.
“When I please, I will discipline them, and nations shall be gathered against them when they are bound up for their double iniquity.” (10:10)
God targeted an entire ethnic group for punishment. He raised the ethnic “other” to war on his disobedient people.
Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you. You have plowed iniquity; you have reaped injustice; you have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your own way and in the multitude of your warriors.” (10:12-13)
How can a fallen nation break up fallow ground and revive its loyalty to God? In this age, how can white Westerners begin again? How can we return to righteousness? How can we inspire a revival, and save ourselves from extinction? We will have to lose trust in our humanistic secular way, our power, and our security. We need a collapse within ourselves before we can rejuvenate our race. Only after a metapolitical/social collapse can God return and bless us. The philosophy of a new beginning.
“…therefore the tumult of war shall arise among your people, and all your fortresses shall be destroyed, as Shalman destroyed Beth-arbel on the day of battle; mothers were dashed in pieces with their children. Thus it shall be done to you, O Bethel, because of your great evil. At dawn the king of Israel shall be utterly cut off.” (10:14-15)
God will punish wicked ethnic groups in terrible ways. He will dash mothers and children to pieces. The young children of a race can suffer God’s wrath because of the corporate sin of the ethnic group to which they were born. God judges, punishes, and stereotypes whole ethnic groups.
We should consider the horrible atrocities against Euroethnics in North America, South Africa, and Europe. There have been many horrid events in which Afroethnics and other “minorities” tortured, murdered, raped, and even ate white people. Black on white crime in America is common; far more common than the reverse. Perhaps God is punishing white Westerners by allowing the ethnic “other” to cause chaos and death among our people.
“When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.” (11:1)
God used a kinship connection to describe his affections for Israel. God created kinship connections to be cherished and respected.
“The more they were called, the more they went away; they kept sacrificing to the Baals and burning offerings to idols.” (11:2)
God does not talk of exceptions. He stereotypes the historical behavior of an entire ethnic group. The more Christians protest the evils of abortion, homosexuality, and other decadent sins the more our society celebrates abomination and curses God’s people. We probably need not change our language, we must wait for God to destroy the wicked and bring renewal.
“They shall not return to the land of Egypt, but Assyria shall be their king, because they have refused to return to me.” (11:5)
The punishment for Ephraim’s misbehavior was domination by the ethnic “other.” The ethnic “other” is a burden upon a nation.
“How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I hand you over, O Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? My heart recoils within me; my compassion grows warm and tender. I will not execute my burning anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim; for I am God and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not come in wrath.” (11:8-9)
The West had better hope God feels this affection for us. We should hope he does not execute his wrath against us, and that he spares us as a father spars his children. The West deserves to be destroyed for spreading immoral filth across the world, but perhaps God will find a remnant of our people to save.
“They shall go after the Lord; he will roar like a lion; when he roars, his children shall come trembling from the west.” (11:10)
Will the children of the West come trembling back to God when he roars? A beautiful verse.
“Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit, but Judah still walks with God and is faithful to the Holy One.” (11:12)
Perhaps God will spare a tribe from among white Westerners to preserve and maintain as his own. Certainly, there are holy people in the West who still fear the Lord. God did choose to spare Lot from the filth of Sodom before he annihilated that city.
“Ephraim feeds on the wind and pursues the east wind all day long; they multiply falsehood and violence; they make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried to Egypt.” (12:1)
Chapter twelve begins with God and Hosea indicting the ethnic Ephraimites of participating in violence and lies. They were also berated as a people for making alliances with the ethnic “other.”
“The Lord has an indictment against Judah and will punish Jacob according to his ways; he will repay him according to his deeds.” (12:2)
After the tribe of Ephraim was indicted, the ethnic Judeans were accused and sentenced to punishment. God used the language of ethnic stereotypes, and he encouraged the readers of ‘Hosea’ to also think in those terms.
“In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and in his manhood he strove with God. He strove with the angel and prevailed; he wept and sought his favor. He met God at Bethel, and there God spoke with us.” (12:3-4)
God spoke as though the ethnic Israelites of Hosea’s day were literally the same person as their common ancestor. A nation’s identity arises from common blood and history. The Israelites of Hosea’s time were not viewed by God merely as individuals; they were seen as an ethnic whole, a single entity. The individualism of modern man, and his obsession with liberty from his identity group, does not represent a godly perspective on human existence. The history of our people is our own history.
Race and ethnicity constitute probably ninety percent of a person’s identity. From our racial kin (our parents and ancestors) we receive our genetics, our appearance, eighty percent of our IQ, our motor movement tendencies, our economic and social class, and our emotional tendencies. From our ethnos we receive our language, our culture, and our religion (normally). Any given individual is ninety percent the product of his or her race and perhaps ten percent the product of individual choices (even individual choices are deeply affected by the worldview and DNA we inherit). It is simply inaccurate to think of people as individuals. A person is more his/her ethnos than they are uniquely themselves.
“A merchant, in whose hands are false balances, he loves to oppress.” (12:7)
Merchants (maybe one can substitute “capitalists”) and bankers have often been oppressive and wicked throughout history. They are often condemned within ancient writings; especially the practice of usury (interest rates on loans).
“I am the Lord your God from the land of Egypt; I will again make you dwell in tents, as in the days of the appointed feast.” (12:9)
God was Ephraim’s God from the land of Egypt. Ephraim was a tribe, an ethnic group, with one identity and life stretching all the way back to Egypt. Individuals and generations come and go, but the ethnic identity remains the same. An ethnos is a living organism.
“If there is iniquity in Gilead, they shall surely come to nothing: in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls; their altars also are like stone heaps on the furrows of the field.” (12:11)
Again, God condemned religious pluralism.
“Jacob fled to the land of Aram; there Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he guarded sheep. By a prophet the Lord brought Israel up from Egypt, and by a prophet he was guarded. Ephraim has given bitter provocation; so his Lord will leave his bloodguilt on him and will repay him for his disgraceful deeds.” (12:12-14)
The ethnic Israelites were simply an extension of their ethnic fathers. Their identity arose from their blood relation to Jacob. They became an identity only through ancestry. They were their ancestors.
Together, the ethnos had incurred a bloodguilt God would not excuse. The corporate group, the whole nation, as one, inherited this guilt regardless of whether a person was personally responsible for it on an individual level.
“When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling; he was exalted in Israel, but he incurred guilt through Baal and died.” (13:1)
The whole tribe of Ephraim was capable of incurring guilt. An ethnic sin. Ephraim’s sin was religious pluralism. They accepted pagan religion amongst their population.
“And now they sin more and more, and make for themselves metal images, idols skillfully made of their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. It is said of them, ‘Those who offer human sacrifice kiss calves!’” (13:2)
When the Christian conquistadors conquered the Aztec Empire, they put an end to thousands of years of human sacrifice. Untold millions of human beings were murdered to worship demons. ‘The Conquest of New Spain’ by eye witness participant Bernal Diaz documents the heinous activities of Mexico’s aboriginal population. The Spanish invaders did their best to destroy all vestiges of idolatry and enforce the Christian religion on their subjects. By doing this, the Spanish saved untold masses of people from ritual slaughter and ensured the blessings of the gospel on future generations of Mexicans. Imperialism and colonialism had benefits.
“But I am the Lord your God from the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior.” (13:4)
There is no savior but God. He is the only God. There can be no religious pluralism among God’s people. A nation seeking God has a spiritual interest in purging outside religions from public practice so that they cannot pollute the identity of the people.
“It was I who knew you in the wilderness, in the land of drought.” (13:5)
God spoke as though the ethnos of Israel was one continuous being who existed from the time of the Exodus.
“…but when they had grazed, they became full, they were filled, and their heart was lifted up; therefore they forgot me.” (13:6)
Too much prosperity and too much material comfort can destroy the spiritual health of a nation. Purity should be maintained through struggle, sacrifice, and insecurity. The purifying of gold.
“So I am to them like a lion; like a leopard I will lurk beside the way. I will fall upon them like a bear robbed of her cubs; I will tear open their breast, and there I will devour them like a lion, as a wild beast would rip them open. He destroys you, O Israel, for you are against me, against your helper.” (13:7-9)
God fantasized about violently destroying a traitorous nation. Sometimes, violence is necessary and anger is justified.
“I gave you a king in my anger, and I took him away in my wrath.” (13:11)
God is capable of anger, and he acts sometimes in wrath. God is a jealous God. He will not share sovereignty with an earthly king. There is no separation of religion and state. God raises up governments and throws them down. A “secular” government deceives itself. God is over everyone whether we acknowledge him or not. We should avoid excuses not to assert him as the supreme authority over every nation. We should not pretend to be morally above religious homogeneity. God is the homogenous ruler of all humanity.
“The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is kept in store. The pangs of childbirth come for him, but he is an unwise son, for at the right time he does not present himself at the opening of the womb.” (13:12-13)
Ephraim sinned as a tribal identity group. The group was judged as a single person: “he.”
“Though he may flourish among his brothers, the east wind, the wind of the Lord, shall come, rising from the wilderness, and his fountain shall dry up; his spring shall be parched; it shall strip his treasury of every precious thing.” (13:15)
The West looks to be “flourishing” among the nations. How prosperous, comfortable, and powerful does Europe and America seem to those of every other continent? However, inside we are a haven of spiritual rot. Already, the wind is drying up our spring and our treasury is being looted. Hordes of Third World invaders flood across our borders, and our cultural and ethnic identity is being ravished. The light of Western Civilization is going out at the height of our “flourishing.”
“Samaria shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword; their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.” (13:16)
Verse sixteen is among the most disturbing verses in the Bible. God condemns Samaria to ruthless punishment for “her” sins (Samaria was judged as a single ethnic person). God appears to have been attacking the furtherance of Samaria’s ethnic line. He sought the death of Samaritan babies and the murder of pregnant mothers. A genocide?
The God of Christianity is no therapeutic deistic God who makes sinners feel better and forgives the unrepentant. God is the God of horrible retribution and the slaughter of babies to punish and destroy entire ethnic groups. If we turn away from God for too long perhaps the West will suffer the same punishment God ordered against Samaria. Perhaps the mass killing, rapes, and terrorist attacks against the West coming from Third World migrants are the beginning of our sentence. We need the rugged faith of the conquistadors to cleanse our lands of immoral filth and drive out infidels from among our people. We know God’s standards, now we must act upon them. Let’s raise up a new Joshua or David, a new warrior caste unafraid of violating liberalism or being slandered as “racists,” “sexists,” and “religious bigots.” Perhaps it will be a war of the mind, but it’s a necessary war. We need a spiritual war.
“Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take with you words and return to the Lord; say to him, ‘Take away all iniquity; accept what is good, and we will pay with bulls the vows of our lips.’” (14:1-2)
We have the ability to turn back to God and save ourselves from his punishment. We have the ability, but do we have the will?
God formed the people of Europe into a single people united as Christendom. When we accepted God’s identity we also accepted his punishment if we turned away. It will be better in the Day of Judgment for the one who never become a Christian than for the one who took on that identity and turned away from it. If the West turns away perhaps God will genocide us. Perhaps he will eliminate us from among the nations.
Before anything else, the West needs a spiritual insurrection within the minds of our people against the godless ideologies of the post-“enlightenment” era. Only after this begins can we restore our identity and vigor.
“Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride on horses; and we will say no more, ‘Our God,’ to the work of our hands. In you the orphan finds mercy.” (14:3)
How often do we proclaim humanism our true religion when we put our faith in technology or government or the “free market?” We proclaim the work of our hands (modern secular society): “our god.” But worldly alliances, like those Israel had with Assyria, will not save us. Only a God can save us now. Only God can heal us of our apostasy through our repentance. We need a true repentance. A repentance of action, an ethnic repentance in which we purge our people of pluralism and hedonism. All purges are violent. They require spiritual, intellectual, and often physical violence against the sacred objects of evil religion. Today, those profane objects include “equality,” sexual “liberation,” “toleration,” mosques, synagogues, brothels, casinos, abortion clinics, various websites, and ideological liberalism and Cultural Marxism. When the Israelite kings and judges purged Israel they physically tore down the pagan shrines that represented their betrayal of God. Repentance is action.
“I will heal their apostasy; I will love them freely, for my anger has turned from them. I will be like the dew to Israel; he shall blossom like the lily; he shall take root like the trees of Lebanon; his shoots shall spread out; his beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon. They shall return and dwell beneath my shadow; they shall flourish like the grain; they shall blossom like the vine; their fame shall be like the wine of Lebanon.” (14:4-7)
Like ancient Israel, God can help the West prosper again. He can restore our people to a relationship with him, end our identity wars, and stop the invasion of our lands from the Third World. Our race can become who we are again: Christendom.
“O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from me comes your fruit.” (14:8)
God cannot share a people with idols. Our identity should be found in the Lord.
“Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.” (14:9)
The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God. Does the West fear God’s wrath? Do we fear betraying our Lord? We cannot even begin to be wise until we fear God.
